Saving Wilderness in National Parks
Through tireless advocacy and the mobilization of tens of thousands of citizens, we saved the Šumava National Park and secured a crucial amendment to the Nature Conservation Act to better protect Czech wild nature.
Defending Clean Energy Rights
We successfully blocked an unfair electricity pricing reform that would have penalized low-income households and discouraged people from saving energy or generating their own power.
Halting Coal Expansion
We repeatedly saved North Bohemian villages from being destroyed by coal mining excavators, eventually guiding the government to support a transition toward a modern, sustainable economy.
Protecting Large Carnivores
Since 1995, our local group has been safeguarding wolves, lynx, and bears. We fight poaching, help farmers secure their livestock, and gather vital scientific data and unique visual material on wildlife.
Connecting People with Local Food
We run the Farmers Directory platform, linking thousands of consumers directly with local, eco-friendly farmers who offer fresh, seasonal food.

To maintain absolute credibility, Hnutí DUHA strictly rejects funding from sources that could compromise our independence. We do not accept donations from large industrial corporations or any entities whose interests conflict with our environmental goals.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards. That is why we are proud signatories of the Code of Ethics of Environmental Organizations, and all our operations are strictly governed by our official Code of Statutes.
